Confirmed from Rader Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Amazing Park for kids and adults There's a separate toddler garden which they love and enjoy (they have small toads in it though) But the kiddos loved it and had fun There's a trail to go cycling or jogging or even a stroll They have a nice picnic area if you want to Barbeque or just go with family and spend some…

This park is great for so many reasons, there is a play area for smaller children and another for the bigger kids. A ton of grass to run and play on. Merry go round teeter totters and there is even a small skate park. The road through the park is paved and great to walk. The park also has an amphitheater and bathrooms.

Fantastic family park that has it all...several baseball fields that are beautifully maintained, great playgrounds, soccer fields and a beautiful walking path that takes you through some gorgeous scenery. And it also has several very clean bathrooms. Definitely an all purpose family park.

Rader is hands down my favorite park in the area!! It's kept very neat & clean, the bathrooms are wonderful, they have a few really cool play areas for the kids (and a fenced in toddler park for runners 😂), it's huge, and it's very family friendly (even if you bring Fido!)

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
