Confirmed from Remillard Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring picnic tables and a trail, as well as a kid-friendly atmosphere.

Quiet path connecting you to the Ferry bay (about 1 mile round trip). Flat terrain on the bike path, or go in the designated dirt trail. Cross the overpass to grab a pastry & coffee from Rustic Bakery before finishing your walk & enjoy the scenic views.
Very nice atmosphere peaceful and quiet... great walk area and my pup loves it 💯🥰
It's off a busy road and there is a busy ferry running right next to it. That and you're right next to San Quentin prison. So it's just a nice waterfront area with some benches and that's about it. Very little parking unfortunately.
Keep walking round the corner from the car park to the water and it's a good place to stop for a break. Blackberries growing here too!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
