Confirmed from Resaca Battlefield Historic Site's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Absolutely beautiful park! Very well maintained battlefield with signs about the battle that took place here. Felt like walking through a Windows wallpaper it was so serene! My only complaint is that they don’t have enough trails. The longest trail is only a little over 2 miles long.

I visited this side on Wednesday morning, and the weather was absolutely gorgeous all day. The trails are well marked and well maintained. There are some hills, and a few roots, but nothing major. These are hallowed grounds, and should be respected! I hiked around for about Four hours.

Such beautiful property and trails, and solemn reminder of the war what was fought on this ground. This property is well maintained. The trails are nice kept up with gravel. The longest loop is about 2 miles with moderate inclines. There's a pavilion at the end of the road into the park.

This is a fairly well kept Gordon County owned park. It is a Civil War historic site of the Battle of Resaca. Our family likes it because it is never crowded and has well marked and maintained trails that we can hike and bring our dogs as well. The terrain is diverse and there is plenty of open and wooded trails.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
