Confirmed from Richardson Scale Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Richardson Scale Park
“Clean, well maintained and safe kid friendly and senior friendly park.”
“This park has a plethora of activities and equipment for people of all ages.”
Of all the parks run by the City of Clifton Department of Parks and Recreation, Richardson Scale is perhaps the most complete park in Clifton. This park has a plethora of activities and equipment for people of all ages.
Nice park and kid friendly! 4 slides, a few climbing parts and a nice big area to run around in. There are 2 normal swings and 2 for babies of all kinds. There are 2 see-saws next to each other and there are some benches and a few in the sun and a few in a shade. There is also a workout area.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
