My dog loves this park. It is her favorite spot in the world. There are a number of interconnected trails back in the woods that run along the river. You can easily spend hours here and still happen upon beautiful places you haven't seen before. Great place to hike, bike, kayak, snowshoe or have a picnic
I’ve been going to Richfield Park since I was very young. The park has lots of walking paths, trees, pavilions, tennis 🎾 courts, basketball 🏀 courts, a BMX park and a playground area. The park is well maintained and has Porto-potties available.
Great trails to Jog. Very peaceful. Good views. Lots of nature. I frequently see deer, hawks, cranes, squirrels and chipmunks. And today a cat!
Pro tip: Save on gas driving up north for the tunnel of trees, and drive through here when the autumn leaves turn. This park is very special to me and I cannot recommend it enough. I also recommend the trail across from it heading west towards Vassar, Belsay and Genesee roads.
