Confirmed from Ridgewood Dog Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a playground, benches, and a walking trail, plus a separate area for dogs.
What runners say about Ridgewood Dog Park
“Beautiful walk around the lake, clean dog park, very friendly people, and well trained dogs to play with.”
“The ground can get a little muddy after rain which is not optimal when you have a dog that loves to roll around.”
I don’t know who likes this place more, my Schnauzers or me. Beautifully surrounded by a pond and trees, friendly dogs, friendly people, friendly staff. My favorite early morning spot for that morning dog walk after dropping my wife at the bus stop.
Beautiful walk around the lake, clean dog park, very friendly people, and well trained dogs to play with. The only problem was, that there was a lot of duck shit when walking around the lake.
Medium sized yards for large and small dogs. Good amount of shade. Area is mostly dirt from use. We've had good experiences with other dogs and owners.
There are good doggies and nice people here. Positive atmosphere with plenty of space for both small and large dogs to run.
Trail conditions & character
“It's separated into two sections, one for dogs under 25 lbs, one for dogs over 25 lbs, which is mostly adhered to.”
