Confirmed from Riley Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Peaceful park with play equipment, trails, and fields for softball and baseball.
What runners say about Riley Park
“Naturally Beautiful, great for those who like to hike past trails and explore.”
“It has lots of mature trees and nice shade in the afternoons and evenings.”
“Another huge plus is this parks location, which is in a very quiet, residential area of town , with little traffic and often times few others at the park.”
Nice little spot to walk or play baseball. I have a hard time not giving 5 stars to a nice open spot of nature basically anywhere as long as it is in a safe area and isn't strewn with debris. This was nicely kept and in a nice little corner of town.
Older park with aging playground equipment, but what it lacks in newer equipment it makes up for with the awesome trails at that back of the play area. Another huge plus is this parks location, which is in a very quiet, residential area of town , with little traffic and often times few others at the park.
This is a very quiet and peaceful place to meditate on our Creator. We enjoyed the walk and views. Listen to the serenity, birds chirping, frogs and crickets and just plain PEACE. Great place to bring the family on an outing or just bring a book and enjoy. There is a lot of history here.
We were really surprised to see trails behind the baseball diamond at this park. They were easy little trails and a great outing for kids!
