Nice hidden place near the border between El Paso And Juarez. If you want a nice stroll thru desert/wetlands this is the place to go and relax take a break from the world and just walk the path of peacefulness.
Fantastic area, really good for birding or just to enjoy nature while you walk around the nicely kept trails! On my walk I spotted a blue heron, great horned owl, ducks, sparrows, finches and a whole bunch of other birds! I visited in the winter so can’t wait to see what this place looks like in the spring!
Great 2 hour walk, went with my 2 boys and toddler and they loved it. They enjoyed the wild feel of the park. They do have some natural shaded areas in the park and rest benches. There was no restrooms or water fountains so take plenty of water.
We liked that their trails were well marked and cleared of rocks. It made it easy for my mom who uses a cane to walk through. It was disappointing there were no restrooms that we know of near the trail we walked. We got to see a few humming birds and a couple other birds. It was a very relaxing walk.
