Confirmed from River Place Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Peaceful park featuring a dam and rapids for dipping your toes, plus picnic tables.
What runners say about River Place Park
“Nice peaceful park with a clean river, Library with a view”
“Beautiful place to stop by very tranquil if you go down on the grass towards the picnic tables etc beautiful view from the bridge but road noise can be annoying.”
“Peaceful and serene, if you can ignore the traffic and the occasional stench of sewage from the treatment facility.”
It is small and beautiful. Would get a better review if there was a trail or something besides a few tables and chairs
All I can say is that I Love this park. I've Never seen it crowded and they have freshly painted picnic tables and other sitting areas too. The Water Rapids run Fast and the Formation of the Boulders in the water allow you to walk out to the Rapids. It's beside a Library with public bathrooms, Books and Computers.
Nice little park, pretty view of river, but wish paths were easier. Had to be careful with my footing and my dog's paws - a lot of tree debris.
The wife and I enjoy walking down by the water and relaxing and just listening to the water and enjoy being in nature.
