Confirmed from River Trail View's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about River Trail View
Pretty good trail. Nice view of the river. Careful with wildlife, had to turn around because we saw a reptile we couldn't identify and we were not properly geared at an alternate path.
I run here all the time. Me and my neighbors come and throw the football around too. This place would get 5 stars from me if they would fix the portions of the trail that are hazardous. It’s been over a year what are you waiting for? Also be careful you will likely see some animals. I’ve encountered several bobcats.
Love the trails in all the parks along the Trinity. So calm and peaceful.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
