Nice place to go for a walk and just enjoy Downtown Waukesha. Seems to be a decent place to fish as well. Will probably go back to fish one of these days.

River Walk and Fox River Trail is a very nice spot. Not a very long path if you wish to ride or bike with young children. Easy parking right next to the trail in many spots. Great location for walks, fishing, biking, bike rentals, paddle boats, kayaking & photography.
The river walk is always great. I do wish they would let dogs walk but I understand that that would disrupt the birds that live there. Many ducks can be seen on the walk and their are many places to stop and sit to enjoy the river. Also near downtown waukesha and a park.
