Confirmed from Rivera Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Rivera Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (345 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 8 mentions

“The restroom are well maintained and do not small like most public park restrooms.”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“Spacious playground, alot of picnic tables and benches, alot of shade.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“It's nice quiet place to take your kids .”

I come walking here daily in the evening and sometimes in the morning. My mom comes walking here every morning. It's a relatively safe neighborhood and a very clean park, my only complaint would be that at night some of the lights are off and they could be very dark (almost pitch black) in some areas.

★★★★☆ — Eddie , Aug 2019

Clean park, lots of shade. Has baseball fields, batting cages, handball court, excellent for walking or exercise. The sidewalk goes all the way around the park for a safe workout. Pets are allowed with proper harness and leash. Large playground area with plenty of bench seating. Plenty of parking.

★★★★☆ — Sonia , Dec 2022

It was a nice afternoon. My child and I love going here. The amount of space to run around, is much needed. We love the walk path too for roller skating, and riding bike. We started going here for the playground, but mainly so that my child can use the scooter peacefully.

Nice place to bring the family or friends, has a playground for kids and evening's there is ball games going on so it does become very busy. A good place to walk or run laps and close to home

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
