Confirmed from Riverbend Recreation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Riverbend Recreation Area

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (773 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“It's clean, has restrooms, a dog park area, and 3 playgrounds for the little ones.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“The trails are long and beautiful in the woods and on the pavements.”

I'm new to Findlay and I wanted to find nature paths to take walks and a friend mentioned this park to me. The paths were nice and clear, but lacked signage. I wasn't really sure where I was going, but I enjoyed wandering! Besides the paths, the park areas have a lot to offer.

My husband and I absolutely love this park. The trails are long and beautiful in the woods and on the pavements. It's clean, has restrooms, a dog park area, and 3 playgrounds for the little ones. And of course the nice little mental health tid bits placed along the walking path.

I love this park. It's close by. Nice walking trails. Have several playgrounds for kids. You can fish. There is a frisbee course. They even have a dog park. It's broken into two sections . One for big dogs and one small.

★★★★★ — Meg , Jun 2024

Great place for families, dog owners, to get a nice walk in or have a picnic. Fenced in dog park, 2 playgrounds, nice walking/biking/rollerblading trail with additional unpaved trails. Nice frisbee golf course and lots of picnic areas. The bathrooms we used were very nice glorified port a pots.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 10 mentions

“My dog didn't really care for it but it seems to be very popular They have bathrooms but they are being worked on so it's porta potties now.”
