This nature area just opened recently, so it hasn't had much time for plantings to grow. On my recent visits, I would probably rate this 3-stars due to that (there simply isn't much to see, yet), though I feel the potential, as well as a very unique view of Saginaw River at the trail's end, is worth rating it 4-stars.
A relatively short, family friendly trail that allows for a unique perspective of Bay City at the end. Even on a warm day in the winter, there are interesting birds to listen to and spot along the way as well.
