Confirmed from Riverfront Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park offering a 9-basket disc golf course plus riverfront views, benches and picnic tables.
What runners say about Riverfront Park
“Gorgeous park, lots of picnic spots, fishing, photo opps, and even a little library exchange!”
Love this park they got a nice walking path with a lot of good scenery. It's off the beaten trail. Would definitely recommend anyone to bring their friends and family to this place. Definitely looking forward to going again.
Excellent little park with a paved trail that circles around it and benches to sit. Parking spots for about 20 cars. Great place to relax or have a picnic or read a book etc. Also had a disc golf course.
This is a wonderful park right on a bend of the Kankakee River. Very bucolic. Disc golf is available for those inclined, and you can walk trails with some mild elevation increases. Recently a local family donated several more acres of land to add onto the park, with the land being kept in its natural wooded state.
A beautiful park with paved walking/biking/skateboarding trails, Riverfront access for fishing and kayaking, fun wildlife spotting ( bald eagles, osprey, fox, coyote and deer), cool canyons and boulders for kids to explore and RC drivers to traverse, and of course, a fun and family friendly 9 basket disc golf course!
