Confirmed from Riverfront Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Riverfront Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (573 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 12 mentions

“The bathrooms are clean great host and community but really wish they would install showers.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“Very beautiful, very well taken care of on a daily basis park.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Family friendly as the park is well kept and I love that it is fully fenced in.”

Family friendly as the park is well kept and I love that it is fully fenced in. However, the "under 5" playground is out-of-sight of the 5-12 playground making it hard for moms to keep eyes on multiple kids. Also, the river Is totally inaccessible and only barely visible, so the name is misleading.

Nice little park right along the river. Plenty of room to run around and two separate parks for different age groups. One for older kids and one for the little ones. A really nice view of the Skagit river near the South East side of the park.

This would have been 5 stars but they do not have a dunk station (one about a mile away) and no showers. The bathrooms are clean great host and community but really wish they would install showers.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 10 mentions

“This park has a couple baseball fields near by and a dog park across the road from it as well.”

  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
