Confirmed from Riverside Natural Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Family-friendly trails and wildlife spot for walking, hiking and birding, boasting river views.
What runners say about Riverside Natural Area
“Beautiful views of the great Miami River and its aviary that lives near by as well.”
“Whether you are a fisherman looking for a quiet place to fish or an outdoorsman looking for their next adventure or anything in between, there is plenty to keep you busy.”
A quiet place to walk. Walking trails are grass, which is a nice, soft walk. Large variety of wildflowers and wildlife. Really a nice nature preserve. Downside is the area surrounds a water treatment center.
I really enjoy walking Ava through Riverside trails and bike path into Joyce Park.
It doesn't look like much but this is my favorite spot to go walking! You can watch people fish or go fishing yourself and it's connected to parks. There's a beaver dam along the walking path and it's the perfect spot to spend a summers evening watching the carp in the dam and bird watching.
Love it... So nice to walk thru during the warmer months. Also it's open from sunrise to sunset. Google needs the options for words instead of numerical time. Especially for parks!
