Confirmed from Riverview Heights Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Casual riverside park featuring benches, trails and open space, along with picnic tables.
What runners say about Riverview Heights Park
“During evening the river Mississippi looks beautiful.”
“The peaceful place one can visit to relax after long having day at work.”
Nice trail in a small loop. Nice access to the river. No bathroom or porta-potty on site.
There is a Creek that ends and water flows into the Mississippi River. The creek runs from the north east. Spring Brook Nature Center is off of hwy 132 . I grew up close to this Creek! In the spring we would fish at the mouth of the creek. Ah, the memories! To get here is easy. 79th way and west of East River Road.
Nice place along the river to take a walk or fish. Clean. Small parking lot but it's not usually busy. The views are very nice. The only thing I would watch out for are people allowing the dogs to run free and the mess they don't pick up. Great place for a picnic.
Two gazebos and a bike trail along the river And over the creek...not much to this place... Fishing under the walk bridge...bout it...
