We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Rock House yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Rock formations and a cave, along with scenic views and hiking trails.
What runners say about Rock House
“A nice hike up to the cave and beautiful views on the way and at the location!”
Jericho trail to Leatherman's cave offers a scenic and challenging hike! The cave is pretty cool and has an interesting history. Taking the trail in from the other side of the cave is much shorter and easier, great way to take kids for a visit.
Nice hike to leather mans cave. Definitely a good uphill hike! Wear good hiking shoes
Awesome hiking spot in CT, little bit difficult to find off the road and a bit of a hill to get up there but nothing too crazy. The cave system is very cool and has a nice view of the valley.
A nice hike up a wash on the blue trail. Connects to Jericho Trail. A few 100 foot tall Northern Red Oaks past the caves and a very tall Beech with a blue blaze.
