A very nice little hiking area, just a little bit away from Sandy Hook Center. It's a little hard to find because there aren't any signs mentioning it, but follow a map and you'll get there. The park itself consists of what is essentially one long hiking trail that loops back on itself.
A gem of a park, with beautiful views of the waterfall over the dam and old brick buildings combined + views of the forest and river from a small summit. Although it's just one trail of about 1 mile, it can be pretty steep so if you move quickly, you can really break a sweat.
Charming hike right in town. Easy terrain with great views. Pay attention to the tree markers or follow on AllTrails so you don't get lost. Kind of peters out at the end but great in all seasons.
A short loop hike(less than a mile) The man made waterfall is always a pleasant experience. I went last year in drought like conditions...this waterfall is always moving though Its a good place for a nature walk. But if the previous night was a rainfall then can be muddy in places
