Confirmed from Rotary Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This 100-acre recreation area has baseball diamonds, walking trails & a playground, plus a dog park.
What runners say about Rotary Park
“The parking lot is huge and well maintained which is normally an after thought in most places but not for the City of Ellensburg, which is great planning.”
“Very enjoyable bike trails, sadly fall made the trip less scenic but still beautiful.”
“Secure gates, watering stations, shade area for hot days.”
Beautiful new dog parks. One for small and timid dogs, the other for the usual suspects. Shade and braces provided for the handlers.
Ellensburg has a very strong regard for Dog ownership. What was once just a few baseball diamonds with open fields around and some dirt parking lots is now a full fledged park.
The dog park was the only place we could find a working drinking fountain, on a super hot day. Our dogs appreciated the refreshment. Thanks to the trail map and a friendly local, we learned about the walking trails through town. This is obviously THE place to be for baseball players and fans, several games at once.
It's a nice little dog park. I always appreciated dog park with a paved people path so I can get my exercise too. Nice scenic backdrop in a rural community, just off the highway.

“We were just driving through town on a roadtrip and like to stop at parks to wear out our high energy dog for a bit before he has to pile back in the van.”
