Confirmed from Rum River Central Regional Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Such a clean, peaceful and quiet park.”

Great trails and I hardly see anybody else here. Enough area to not walk in a 5 minute loop. About 3/4 mile along the river.

★★★★★ — Jeremiah , Jan 2024

Huge park with walking trails, both groomed and ungroomed, horse trails, a large Pavillion that can be reserved, a large playground, and a camp site for overnight canoers/kayakers and multiple spots along the Rum that will allow for fishing. The park is very well maintained. Enjoy!

★★★★★ — Richie , Aug 2025

I love walking all the different trails. Some are paved. Some are through the wooded areas. Love walking along the river. Always birds to see. Sometimes deer will come out of the woods.

★★★★★ — Wendy , Nov 2024

We love going here anytime of the year! Sometimes we take our bikes on the fun trails or depending on the snow, for cross country skiing or snowshoeing!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
