We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Ruth McKenzie Table Mountain Preserve yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Ruth McKenzie Table Mountain Preserve
I AM A HIKE DOCENT WITH SIERRA FOOTHILL CONCERVANCY AND LED A GROUP OF 30 PARTICIPANTS ON THIS 1st DAY OF 2020. EXCELLENT CARDIO HIKE AND MAGNIFICENT VIEWS AND PERSPECTIVES ALONG THE WAY & ALSO AT THE VERNAL POOL TABLETOP, WHICH IS THE LUNCH & TURNAROUND AT 3 MI. .
It made me very upset to see this on my last hike. Please recreate responsibly and take care of your surroundings.
Easy to moderate. The last climbed were steep. At the very top there were know direct trailed. To see the Joaquin river and mountains we had to walk through tall grass, and small to large rocks. You had watch your step because of the tall weeds.
Great place for a peaceful hike. Sierra Foothill Conservancy organises periodic events.
