Confirmed from Rycenga Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (158 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

“My child's grad party was held here and the picnic area was clean, as were the bathrooms.”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“It is always so shaded that the court can hardly ever dry out in between rains especially with the leaves all over it.”

🐕 dog-walking favorite 3 mentions

“This is a great place for walking the trails, walk the dog, there is a soccer field, play area, picnic area”

Almost everything about this park is A+ and certainly is worthy of a top score. The township takes good care of it, fields are fantastic, playground is always kept up and clean for the kids, trails are great, there is a great vibe when there is a lot of activity at the park with sporting events and friendly people,…

3/20/26 I enjoy taking my dog to walk on the trails here. It's pretty during all 4 seasons of the year. ‐---------------- 2025 This park is very nice. It has many well-kept trails to walk with or without your dog(s) on. The playground is a lot of fun for the kids.

Nice, out of the way park. My child's grad party was held here and the picnic area was clean, as were the bathrooms. Park has plenty of space for play as well as walking trails. Plenty of parking as well.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 8 mentions

“Public restrooms available year round (restroom buildings open seasonally from spring to fall, with porta-potties during the winter).”
