Confirmed from Salem Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park in the woods with ball fields and a playground.
What runners say about Salem Community Park
“Really nice and clean, worth checking out considering your paying for it!”
I love going to camp at wonderland Senior Camp they provide a great opportunity for Senior to enjoy for 4 day and they also have a lots of activities to keep us busy doing the stay thank God for the Savation Army thinking about the Senior to come out and have safe fun no noise, gun,no police car running all night very…
I go there to read scripture and meditate. It is usually quiet. It's a beautiful setting and has secluded walk along a creek. There are facilities for small children and ball fields.
A really nice place to take the dogs for a nice walk. Beautiful area and a nice place to enjoy that my tax dollars pay for. Very clean and pretty well kept. A really nice place to take your dog and yourself too.
Love this park! Always come here for a nice walk, any time of year! Trails are kept up well and there are alot of different areas to explore.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
