Confirmed from Sam Rayburn Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Sam Rayburn Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (25 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

I hadn't been on a track & field track since about or around 1977 or 1978, however I'm on a serious health kick and heart healthy diet these days dealing with cholesterol issues ! I went and actually jogged a full mile and honestly could of kept jogging a little more.

Our family plays basketball there and works out on the track. The one full-size court has four side court baskets. It is covered and lighted. Decent track for running/walking and they also have a perimeter cement trail that is about .6 miles lomy that circles the track and court.

★★★★☆ — Kyle , Aug 2018

It's really nice come and take a walk or Jogging on the track. During the week it's kinda busy but I love jogging on the nature trail alot better.
