Confirmed from San Lorenzo County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

99 campsites (never full), large group camping site, picnic sites, bbq's, open campfires with lots of firewood around, club houses w/ kitchens, playgrounds, 2 museums, all reservable. Lots of shade trees. Lots of lawn. Can be dusty as it is downwind from ag fields. Always breezy. Walking distance to shopping.

This is our second time here. First time in a rent for the weekend, this time in a trailer for the week. Great spots, easy access. Feels like your out of town when your inside but your less then a mile from town. Family friendly.

★★★★☆ — Nick , Jul 2017

Only been here once. Nicely kept grounds, beautiful oak trees, plenty areas for picnicking, strolling. Enjoyed walking dogs with friends visiting from out of town. They enjoyed park as well!👍🏽👍🏽🌳🐕

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 7 mentions

“The camping facilities include RV hookups and tent sites, with restrooms and showers available.”

  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
