Confirmed from Santa Ana River Trail- mile marker sixteen's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Santa Ana River Trail- mile marker sixteen
“The Santa Ana River Trail mile marker sixteen is a point to remember!”
The Santa Ana River Trail mile marker sixteen is a point to remember! With the Steve Ambriz Memorial Park just a block away, it’s a back way spot into the park on foot or by bike, as well as a passage point of reference from the park and homes of the Riverbend Community, via the paths and trails.
Great, easy path. Easy to park. Good reception. You get trees lined up with water and a mountain background view. Best time to go might be one hour before sunset. The only complaint is the water looks a little dried at this end. Go more north for more water.
A Versatile Trail for Wildlife and Long Treks If you are looking for a reliable, paved stretch to get some distance in, the Santa Ana River Trail is easily one of the best options in the region. I recently spent the afternoon cruising down the trail with my dog, and it remains a go-to spot for a reason.
This is a Wonderful trail! We love to run there and ride bikes 🚲 during morning and evening much less people!
