Confirmed from Santiago Hills Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Basketball and volleyball courts, baseball fields and trails are in this grassy park.
What runners say about Santiago Hills Park
“Bathrooms are always clean and have soap.”
“There were many families there enjoying the beautiful LA weather on Easter Sunday.”
“Was able to bring two 6ft tables with chairs since the 3 concrete tables weren't enough, and they still fit under the shade of the pavilion.”
So many hills and play areas. There were many families there enjoying the beautiful LA weather on Easter Sunday.
I like this location for parking when riding into Santiago Oaks MTB trails. Nice bathroom, always open early. Parking under shade trees is an option when it is hot. The lot can be full due to MTB crowd or parents shuttling kids to neighboring schools. Weekday morning are best.
Great little park close to Santiago College. Good place to a run, or just relaxing in the shade. Public restrooms are clean. nice paved walking trails.
Nice park to walk your dog. A lot of people park here to bike at Santiago Oaks. There is a small parking lot and restrooms. No doggy bags.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
