We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Sawyer Creek Nature Trail And Oak Savanah Forest yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Sawyer Creek Nature Trail And Oak Savanah Forest
Great little trail sponsored by the nearby assisted living community. The trail follows Sawyer Creek through a wild flower rich woodland. On the far end the trail loops around to bring you back to where you started. Benches and birdhouses abound so you can take a seat and watch the wildlife for a bit.
Nice little walking trail, a long a creek. We saw ducks and bird life towards the end of it. Really neat area!
Lovely nature walk, maintained by local assisted living facility. Be kind and courteous on the path.
Amazing trail! So many butterflies and species of flowers. Be sure to check out the prairie flower area down the trail a bit.
