Confirmed from Schleman Nature Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a variety of woods and scenery as well as streams, plus a fire pit.
What runners say about Schleman Nature Preserve
“Schleman Nature Preserve in Medina is a beautiful, quiet place to enjoy the outdoors.”
“I love this preserve because it's really peaceful with a nice variety of trees and a creek and trails that are just the right length for kids and well worn and easy to walk on.”
We love walking here. It gives us the opportunity to really soak in nature. It's just the right length to where we are not feeling wore out walking the entire trail. The trails in this preserve are maintained for the most part. They're kept trimmed so that we aren't getting snagged by the sticker bushes and such.
Schleman Nature Preserve is a nice alternative from Buckeye Woods preserve. Being right next door this preserve offers wooded/trails on dirt stone pathways. This trail can be or either walking running but no bikes allowed. It would definitely be a nice fall walk. The trail can get a bit muddy.

Nice place to walk in the woods with a wide variety of trees and birds. Open fields to play ball.
Trail conditions & character
“I only wish they would pull gravel from the creek beds more often to avoid the softened, sunken, muddy spots all along the trails.”
