Confirmed from Scott A. Lewis Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Very clean beautiful but small park in an newer neighborhood. Has a small lake with single dock, walking trail around with doggie bags available, plus one pavilion with tables and bbq pit , electricity, and restrooms. Great quick stop for lunch on the lake.

★★★★☆ — Todd , Aug 2017

Beautiful huge lake. Nice walking paths also. We caught 6 to 8 in catfish. We will go back and try a different spot to fish at.

★★★★☆ — Charles , Jul 2023

Great park for running, walking, kayaking (kayak rental kiosk on site), or fishing (not yet tried, but have seen many people fishing). The playground and the pavillion seems nice as well.

Very clean and nice park with a beautiful lake to walk around . You can also fish and put your kayak , paddle boat or a canoe in the water. It does have a boat ramp.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
