This is such a beautiful, natural area!! It's so nice to be able to come and connect with nature!There is a small parking lot here with access to the trails, or you can park down the street at Robinson Park by the gazebo. Either way you go, you won't be disappointed. I've gone left into the wooded area...
I life finding new places to trail run, this place is easily my second favorite place now (favorite is Jesse Jones Nature Area in Humble). This has lots of shaded trails, I saw a snake in the water, i love seeing wildlife. If you are looking to trail run, this place is perfect.
The best refuge I've been to so far. Been here twice to go running and I've seen deer, rabbits, hogs, alligators, and many species of birds. Heard 2 owls today!
Really nice walking trails. Some of the best in the Clear Lake area. A great place to clear your mind. If you go enough you'll see deer, wild pigs, rabbit, squirrel, snakes and maybe an alligator. These are maintained well. Occasional mosquitos depending. I love the recent addition of Bat Houses!
