Confirmed from Searls Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Large city park with wooded paths & baseball diamonds, popular with dog walkers & joggers.

The Canine Corners Dog Park is such a great place to take your dog and meet really friendly people. The dog park is always maintained and you can tell the people who take their dogs there really care about this park. There’s a nice wooded area to walk your dogs, there’s also always dogs there anytime of the Week.

There is some very friendly ppl there that are welcoming to newcomers and those who have just adopted a dog. The hiking trails are great for your dog to run unleashed and explore. Just make sure you read the rules for the park😉

Great place to go with friends or family to get in tune with God and nature. Lots of fun. Miles of trails. Saw an herd of deer. 🦌

★★★★★ — Tony , Dec 2020

Another great park. They have park equipment for the kids to play on and a baseball field. Pet friendly and an educational center. Great to take the kids to and spend family time. During the summer they have horses out in the field and offer rides. Trails and creek. Easy to spend the whole day there.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
