Confirmed from Sherburne Nature Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

The entrance for the Nature Center is beautiful and scenic. Lots of trails in the woods and is perfect place for dogs. It’s very quiet and definitely a hidden gem.

Love this place. It’s has a variety of terrain, mostly in the form of trees with some cute bridges. Easy to follow the trail signs. It’s perfect for a walk in the woods for families with kids or senior citizens. Only down side is parking is a little confusing.

★★★★★ — Niles , Mar 2021

Great place to hike with young ones. The trail lengths are perfect for little kids. A variety of biomes - the field is incredible in summer with butterflies and wildflowers. Watch out for poison ivy. Fun bridges to cross, the pond has a breeze that keeps the mosquitoes at bay and the dragonflies span the rainbow.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
