This is a nice loop hike. It is just short of 5 miles. A nice place to start is at the Evansburg State Park Pavilion A. If you start there, there is not a lot of elevation change. The main hill to go down is at the start and at the end to come back up to the main parking area.

It's a nice trail, some really pretty scenery and some challenging moments. We went after a rainy day and I must warn most of it was extremely muddy and parts covered in horse manure so definitely wear shoes according to that and have extra shoes and socks in your vehicle to change into.
Pretty hike, gem hidden in a suburban setting. Mostly away from roads. Fair amount of ups and downs if you want to get your heart rate up a bit. Some wooden bridges laid at the ground level makes cruising interesting over gaps. Sights looking down on the creek makes the hike never boring.
