Confirmed from Slick Rock Recreation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“Simply beautiful and peaceful scene along the Kaweah River with giant rocks everywhere to climb all over.”

One of the best places I've visited. I took the kids to Sequoia national park, and saw this magical creek on the side of the road. We decided to stop by on our way back, and that was the best decision we made for that day! The kids had so much fund there, they didn't wanted to leave.

Beautiful place to take a hike, go fishing, take a swim, just enjoy the natural outdoors, it was clean and very peaceful just be ready to pay $10 fee to park, play on the first entrance the second one isn't working right now so you'll have to walk up to the first parking area

Such a great spot to hang out! It is not a "hike," but it is a nice spot to walk & spend some time. It ended up raining while we were there, but we stuck around anyway! There is a $5 daily parking fee (card only). The drive was nice driving around the lake.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
