Confirmed from Snake Warrior's Island Natural Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Nice, quiet, relaxing walking trail with informational plaques to learn about the history of the place.”

Wonderful park! Very quiet and peaceful. I didn't even know it was here if it wasn't for Google maps. It has nice pathways to walk or ride bike. Although it's not a big park, it is perfect for brisk walk or to read a book under the trees or just relax in peace. There were a few benches and some picnic tables.

Nice, quiet, relaxing walking trail with informational plaques to learn about the history of the place. Not really the best place to go sit and relax. There are seating and benches but very few and were occupied.

This beautiful park is home to so much history and wildlife. Part of the area is fenced off, to protect and respect the former indigenous inhabitants who rest there. We happened to arrive right before a nature walk was to take place and received a tour of the land. We learned about the birds, trees and history.

Very beautiful place with lots of friendly park goers. I love the lush greenery-- very wild but manicured landscape that gives way to an almost dream-like feel. There are a few benches and picnic tables for an intimate gathering, and one long paved trail that circles around the park.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
