“Other than that it's beautiful and the views of the mountains are amazing!”
Absolutely beautiful, and we didn't come across one other person. A TON of wildlife, so please be careful. Bring water and a snack because even in late winter early spring, the sun can be very warm. Cell service is spotty.
Fairly easy hiking trail for the first half hour, the next half hour is a little more difficult with the grades and you need to be careful on the edge of the cliffs. Beyond that you should be an experienced and athletic hiker. The scenery out the gorge is spectacular, especially if you catch it nearing sundown.
Avoid this trail unless careful along steep, 100 foot drops. Sandy, narrow section next to slopes are hazardous so hike with caution.
Nice trail just be prepared for uneven terrain and moderate difficulty getting up this trail. Other than that it's beautiful and the views of the mountains are amazing!
