Confirmed from Speedwell Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Green space with a playground & an open field, plus a waterfall & fishing lake with a walking trail.

“It is a beautiful little park where you can jog, bike, walk, and fish small trout.”
“Tucked away from the rush of city life, it offers a calm, refreshing escape where nature feels untouched and time slows down.”
Speedwell lake park is a very small and serene park in Morristown. It has this fall view and pathway for walking, jogging which goes through sort of jungle ! It has a limited parking space (cars) free of cost. It is more like a community park.
Picturesque small park with paved Patriots’ Path running along the lake shore. Small waterfall created by park’s Spillway is probably most photogenic feature of the park, but lake views are gorgeous on the their own merit.
Beautiful park to visit all year long. Amazing views! The park includes a damn with water fall and walking trails along the Whippany River. My favorite time to visit is the Fall- the colors are spectacular!! Parking on site. Fishing allowed.
Such a clean and peaceful park! Fun for kids to learn how to fish and great to take a morning walk.
