Confirmed from Stafford Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Stafford Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (70 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

“Crowded on weekends with disc golfers but both the trail and the disc golf course are well maintained and beautiful.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“The trail is peaceful, scenic, and a great place to spend time outdoors.”

Five stars goes to trails in Colorado, but this is pretty good for a random little walk in South Jersey. It abuts the Stafford Woods Disc Golf course as well as Stafford Farm, with views of each. This is just a nice trailhead and alternate entrance.

Phillip gives a great review, although I’m not sure I entirely agree with his rating rubric. Which is an excellent point that we’ll discuss later. This is a nice wooded area. It is used primarily as a disc (frisbee) course - it’s like golf with frisbees, but no bros or rich while dudes.

★★★★★ — Brian , Nov 2023

It is a nice wooded area tucked away in Voorhees. Has plenty of places to hike around. The main item to go for is disc golf. There are plenty of deer and turkey around to see. There are a couple of geocaches that you can find in the area. There are no restrooms.

★★★★★ — Rick , Aug 2020

Took my dog. Found some guy's lost frisbee and then met the guy who lost it who was accompanied by his 4 mo puppy. Sunny day. Milkweed pods, split open, drying on their stalks. A tree in the open field draped with Bittersweet berries. A woman walking with her little girl said, "Hi." Fine friendly place..

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

“4 stars as there isn't a parking lot for the trail and 'No Parking' signs on the road near the trail entrance”
