Confirmed from Stewart Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Stewart Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (984 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“Clean restrooms, babbling brook, bike/walking path that connects to points regionally, lots of picnic areas and other such.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“Nicely scenic and connects to the Duck Pond for those of us who enjoy a bit of a longer run”

We stopped on a long road trip to let the kids get the ants out of their pants. Even in the rain this park is neat. The real train is a fun play structure of sorts. My child enjoyed climbing on it, but I think I did more.

★★★★★ — Nathan , Nov 2024

Beautifuly elongated park with plenty of shade and shares it distance with the S. Umpqua. Because of the baseball diamonds, tennis, The Y and Disk Golf Coarse in close proximity youll find active people from all walks of life feeling content and shareing smiles and weekend moments with family and friends.

★★★★★ — Erik , Sep 2023

Beautiful, well established park. Stewart Park is well utilized by the community and provides pavilions and grass for BBQs and picnics. As well as bike trails, disc golf, wildlife, and a fun play structure for kids.

★★★★★ — Ali , Jun 2020

Really nice newer playground that is not covered. Lots of walking trails near the park. Access to the river and lots of grass to layout on and enjoy. Nice clean bathrooms.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 9 mentions

“There are stairs to climb in on both sides to get an up close view of the mechanics that made this engine run.”
