Crushed-Gravel Former Railroad To Trail No Bathrooms at this Trailhead but there is Liqour Store at a Bar up ahead about probably 3 miles acrsoss from Roscoe Town Hall on Elevator Road
This is the end of the northern segment of the best bike trail around Rockford.
Ed this was a great find for us a nice trail the bridge was a good point to stop and rest and learn a little bit of history about why the trail became to be. It also connects with the prairie State trail. Which makes it 20 miles from one end to the other.
Been riding stone bridge trail for quite a few years, always a good time. Right now it could probably use some resurfacing but it's still worth the ride. Once you hit pavement it gets a lot smoother
