Confirmed from Stony Brook Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with kid-friendly hiking trails and a river.

Beautiful and peaceful spot to walk, hike, or stroll. The ripple of the water helps to calm the mind and the sounds of the birds help to calm the spirit. I highly recommend this area to anyone. Great, easy trails for young or just young at heart!
Very nice area only wish trails were a little better marked the marked trees are fading so it was hard to decipher which way to go but very pretty area
Nice place pretty thick some poison ivy. You have to go through a river wear proper footwear. Trail is a little difficult to follow and its not marked. Easy trail to do tough to follow.
Nice Looper. Cool little park with a nice loop trail past a pond and a small river. Still pre-spring so not a lot of green yet and very damp ground. Bring bugger spray. Easy access and ample parking.

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
