Confirmed from Sunset Park - Lake Esther's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Sunset Park - Lake Esther
Nice peaceful place for a walk or picnic and of course fishing have been out there many times only problem is that if if you need to use the restroom there isn't any which has happened to me numerous times and the only place you can go for relief are business in the surrounding area makes me uncomfortable to go to one…
Lake Esther can be circumnavigated in less than a mile. A nice walking/running/biking trail runs around the perimeter. Not much yet for trees, etc. A couple benches for sitting and enjoying the view, one picnic shelter and two other picnic tables as well as a concrete fishing area are available. Simple but nice.
Great lake for the kids to go fishing. Really nice walking trail and playground, too!
