Confirmed from Sunset Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Laid-back, family-friendly spot for soccer and football featuring a playground, a pond and picnic areas.
What runners say about Sunset Park
“It's clean, has options for babies all the way up to work out stuff for adults.”
“Some shade during hot months and a park holding pond that has lots of wildlife during the cooler months.”
Cute little park with a section for playing in the grass that's perfect for running and imagination play. Play structures were clean and bathrooms were as well. Even with soccer practice occurring it was fairly easy to get parking. Nice little park! 1st time visit, would like to visit again when I come to the valley.
Very nice large park with very large grassy fields for sports teams to practice; football, soccer, etc. Includes playground, .5 mile walking loop, and bathrooms. Nice area, good side of town.
Clean, not tent invaded, has bathrooms and a drinking fountain and sink. There is at least one small grill next to one of the picnic tables. I believe there are 4 picnic tables total and a couple of benches. The walking route is nice and has a bench next to the fence by the water hole.
Close walk from home. Clean restrooms and facilities due to a great maintenance crew. Children, families and sports teams often practice and play. Some shade during hot months and a park holding pond that has lots of wildlife during the cooler months.
