Confirmed from Sunset Trails Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Sunset Trails Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (119 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“The park is clean and well kept.”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“Not much shade and no real parking lot, but a fun play ground and on-demand splash pad.”

This is a great little neighborhood park where there are kids playing in the water feature riding on the trails and playing in the play area. There's also a nice basketball court and lawn area. There are some pavilions also for people to have picnics

★★★★★ — Monte , Jul 2025

This is a nice little park with a small splash pad, and a walking path. It has a few pavilions with tables. It is used mostly by the locals as it is out of the way some, but still a great little park.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 8 mentions

“Bathrooms were not open but it was early April and probably not warm enough.”
