I have walked here many times and love taking my camera for a walk here. I came here when I was a young boy years ago with my uncles and cousins to fish. It was a different place back then because it was not a park. I would recommend everyone come check this place out some weekend.
The Susquehanna Riverlands is always has been a special place for our family to enjoy the outdoors. Whither it's fishing or walking the trails, or playing at the children's playground and a family BBQ. It's always a place where you feel like it's home.
We watched a Great blue heron hunting. He/she seemed to be unafraid of us. We saw a great variety of plants, too, including Mile-a-minute plant.
Been coming here for 30 yrs now and enjoy every time . And love walking the trails even now just for the change of season so gorgeous
