This viewpoint is about a 15 km (9 miles?) round trip from the Holiday Inn Express. The views are great, and reward you for the 440 meters elevation gain during the hike. Price of admission: free. Be careful when the trails are wet - the roots and some of the rocks can be slippery.
There is a lookout in this park that provides a panoramic view of Honolulu and Waikiki. The view is gorgeous. Also a perfect place to watch sunset. One thing to note is that it does get really windy here. There are two parking lots available near this lookout. The one right next to the lookout is very small.
If you have a car, you HAVE to do this! It was a ~20 minute drive from our Airbnb right by Waikīkī Beach. When we got to the top, it was not very busy. There was a couple taking their time capturing their own pictures but you can stay and stare into the horizon forever. Beautiful views for MILES!
The place to visit if you are looking fornone of the best views in all of Oahu. From the lookout, you can see the stunning views of Honolulu and Diamond Head. Also great hiking trails or bird watching. Perfect for sunset or night view but it can get crowded.
