Confirmed from The Rail Yard's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly park featuring picnic tables, a trail, and exercise equipment.
What runners say about The Rail Yard
Visiting from Georgia. Found this place as a nice trail for short morning walk. Loved the dog tails area. Excited to visit again as additional construction is finished.
Great place to walk or ride bikes. Safe, family friendly and lots to do. You can walk the paved trail or let the kids play and the Panther's training area. There's also a super cool dirt bike or mountain bike park.
Great place for the kids to play and burn off energy. They even have a fitness/gym set up for kids and adults to use. Watching kids use the bike track was fun as well. Walking the rail trail is relaxing
Very Nice Rail Trail, Flat and Smooth, Paved, Bathrooms and Porta Potty, Could use Some Maintenance. ... Very Nice Park. ... Smooth Enough for Skates.
